The ShikiMatch daily quiz is a free online anime quiz: every day at midnight Moscow time a new set of eight stages comes out. Warm up with Higher or Lower, guess anime from screenshots, pictures, pixelated posters and emoji, recall characters, recognize openings and endings by ear, and finish with Anidle — the anime take on Wordle. Results land on the daily leaderboard, and your streak and per-stage stats build up over time. For speed there is the blitz: 60 seconds of multiple-choice questions, one run a day, with its own daily and weekly leaderboards.

Four. «Daily» is one shared set per day in eight stages — a Higher or Lower warm-up, screenshots, pixel posters, emoji, characters, openings, endings and the final Anidle; it refreshes at midnight and feeds the daily leaderboard. «Standard» is a permanent ladder of screenshot, pixel-poster, emoji, character and Anidle levels plus three Higher or Lower sections — release date, score and popularity. It has no tie to a date: clear as many as you like, whenever you like. «Blitz» is 60 seconds of multiple-choice questions from every section, one run a day with its own leaderboards. «Duel» is the same blitz against other players: with friends in your own room or against a random opponent.
Yes — in Duel mode. Create a room, pick the modes (screenshots, posters, emoji, characters, Higher or Lower by date, score or popularity), the answer mode — one of four options or typing the title — the time and up to six players, then invite friends with a link or a code. Everyone gets the same questions and a shared start, and opponents’ scores are visible live. Or just press “Find an opponent” for a 1v1 against a random player.
A quick mode with no typing: two anime and one question — which aired earlier or later, which is rated higher or lower, which is more popular. The direction of the question changes every round, so you have to read it. In the daily quiz it is the nine-question warm-up stage; in the standard mode it has its own release-date, score and popularity sections.
A timed anime quiz: 60 seconds of questions from every section — a screenshot, a pixelated poster, emoji, a character and Higher or Lower — with four options each. A correct answer scores, a streak multiplies it up to ×2, a mistake costs 5 seconds and a skip 2. It gets harder as you go. One run a day with the same questions for everyone, so the «Best today» and «Best this week» boards are fair. The blitz awards up to 5 sakura petals a day.
Switch to the «Standard» mode. It holds hundreds of levels that don't run out with the day: 100 easy, 100 medium and 100 hard in every section for free, and four times as many characters. The levels are identical for everyone, so scores compare fairly on the leaderboard. The «Slop Seeker» subscription triples the levels in every difficulty.
No. You can start the standard mode right away as a guest — your progress is kept in your browser. Signing in is what makes the points yours, turns on your stats and puts you on the shared leaderboard.
Yes. Today's quiz and the three previous days are free for everyone — you only need to sign in so your progress, score and leaderboard spot are saved. Older days of the past month unlock with the «Провидец слопчика» subscription tier.
Every day at midnight Moscow time. One day is eight stages: a Higher or Lower warm-up, screenshots, pixel posters, emoji, characters, openings, endings and the final Anidle.
It is a daily quiz stage and a section of the standard quiz: each title's plot is encoded in five emoji. You start with the most obvious one; hints open three and then all five, and the payout drops from 5,000 to 2,500 and 1,000 points. Misses reveal nothing and cost only −10% per three, so solving from one emoji even on the tenth try beats solving from three. The standard mode has 300 titles per difficulty, from Naruto and Attack on Titan to niche classics.
The final Wordle-style stage: you name anime and the game highlights what matches the hidden title — year, type, studio, genres — and which way to move. Green is an exact hit, yellow means close.
Besides a leaderboard spot — petals and relics for the Sakura Wheel, ShikiMatch's free anime gacha, where you pull anime characters into your collection.
Yes. The RU/EN switch sits in the site header and changes the whole interface, not just the quiz. The search understands Russian titles, romaji and transliteration: «каноджо» finds Kanojo, Okarishimasu, and «хёка» finds Hyouka.
Yes — in the archive on this page. The last three days are free for everyone, and the whole month of quizzes is available to «Провидец слопчика» tier subscribers and above.
