It was engaging from the start till the very end. Me who watched it without context enjoyed, author for sure made hyper unrealistic guy with who at least me can relate to. Absolute cinme, Mappa.

Incredibly calming type of anime never watched that kind before. Liked the philosophy of main character and the chemistry between humans/mushi. Each episode is about life itself, the way to approach to nature. Here is come comments with other people thought about some of the episodes. That explains why Ginko doesn't kills Mushi, he knows even they want to live cuz of the Mushi within him, and another reason he doesn't kill them is because he knows they're a part of nature and are meant to be there, whether they are troublesome sometimes or not he knows that everything has it's place and purpose I don't think he filled it up, we saw stones when it was only air, because of the type of memory-of-sound differences between the surface world, and what was being estimated-OF the surface world, by the consciousness/(es) that had created the space. As the need ended, so did the need to change matter. The questions in the narration at the end, asks questions, but does not address at-what-depth, different materialisation & metamorphosis occur in different ways. I'm assuming that's a hint about HOW the space was created. Not centre of the earth though, i'd say only just-under the surface. Still recently submerged, only just-starting, to change into flesh-of-the-earth. was afraid of reading the comments, since it takes maturity, just like most other episodes, to take these stories in without the aim of parting judgement. this is another real human facett, and it was once again well portrayed. as an outsider we can have morals and ethics ecc, but the turth is human nature is flawed, it's irrational. knowing what's 'right' and not being able to follow that path, even putting on an act won't cut it in the end. it's why free will is so important, personal conviction and drive the core of anything we do. forcing people into boxes, deciding over them, taking their rights, freedom, choices, is not gonna be without consequence. we don't function this way. so, imo this was another haunting beautiful tragic story, and I'm once again surprised by and grateful to the creators for both portraying such topics as another spectra of life, without denouncing or condemning them
During the first half got rather disappointed in series cuz it went too smoothly in some way but the second part filled up all missing holes and made this show shine (the first part too). Also I watched VN lost Christmas (~2 hours with 2x speed) in order to get to know the lore better but in the end that was rather futile. Liked up and downs of mc even though having superpowers he made mistakes, was troubled and struggling. Mostly antagonists during the series is nothin exceptional, but i liked one hisoka looking and the evolving will of humanity. Maybe a lil bit slow on romace even though it is in genres, but the closer finale the more interaction. All the other characters Gravekeepers and government played they roles well and were natural. The ending is good, but could be better mb. And appreciate new concept of love (read from reddit) they share the same body. Or he got finally closed eye meaning he don't need to take "guilty" crown anymore. Romace was weak, only shined up in the out of nowhere feels like. Recommended 100%
So that Is one of those anime I liked which left me mixed aftertaste. Pros are well written characters, setting, vibe. Music is not great but smth mid. The main conflict in antagonists mind for me was unclear till the very end. Even though I finished it I couldn't put my thoughts together which means imo I am not smart enough to see between the lines, hope in the future i will be. The main theme about importance of the persons name was smth new to me I appreciated it. And overall the monsters theme isn't about protagonist's or antagonist's philosophy but everybody out there. I was really engaged. But the series could be much shorter.
I guess of of the best mature romantic titles out there. Every main character been through some improvements and realisation. Great soundtrack. Characters feel real for me. The main theme there about the genuine thing captivated me and I would like to find one for myself. I actually liked the way everything come to the terms of maturity, social life and reamining yourself and keep whats dear to you in your own way. Definitely would recommend. Rewatch once feel down.
Завораживающая идея которая не получила раскрытия (пришли к тому от чего начали) с прекрасно прописанным и обьясненным миром, музыкальное сопровождение, только данный уклад общества позволяет им выжить. Они попытались но на этом и всё. Вроде как обоснованная безвыходица.
Необычное аниме с необычным как по мне повествованием, прелестное муз сопровождение
