When recommendation technologies are used on this information resource, information relating to the preferences of Internet users located in the Russian Federation is collected, systematised and analysed.

2. Data used
- anime lists, scores, viewing statuses and the number of completed titles;
- genres, themes, studios, years and other properties of titles in the list;
- derived taste signals, viewer class and similarities to other viewers;
- titles already watched, planned, paused or dropped, so that irrelevant recommendations can be removed.
3. Sources
Data is obtained from the account connected by the user on Shikimori, MyAnimeList or AniList, from public title metadata, and from actions deliberately performed by the user in ShikiMatch.
4. General method
ShikiMatch normalises the user's scoring habits, identifies positive and negative taste signals, compares them with viewers who rated overlapping titles, and ranks unseen titles using the resulting similarity and genre signals. The system does not make decisions that create legal consequences for the user.
5. User controls
The user may stop using personal recommendations, unlink an external provider, disable participation in Match in settings, or request deletion of the account and recommendation data.
